Paul F. Sacher worked for his father-in law at the Fleetwood Shirt Company in PA, a respected maker of high-quality private label dress shirts that opened in 1951. Inspired by his innate optimism and what he believed was an opportunity in the market, Sacher established the Paul Fredrick brand in 1986, selling direct to consumer through 2”x 2” ads in the Wall Street Journal and a mail order catalog.
The dress shirt business was good, growing as the company focused on quality and customer service. Many buyers relied on the courteous and knowledgeable staff who were available to answer questions via the good old-fashioned telephone. That service is still available today, real humans located in Fleetwood PA, answering questions about the collection and our Perfect Fit guarantee by phone and now online chat as well. No robots or AI taking care of our valued customers.
