Who is Paul Fredrick? We’d like you to meet Jim. Over the years we’ve been fortunate enough to get to know some of our customers. Gentleman from all over the U.S., representing just about every profession you can imagine, each with his own personal fashion of choice. The one commonality? Paul Fredrick is their style of choice. Meet Jim. Jim is the president of an insurance agency and lives in South Central Pennsylvania. He'll soon be celebrating his fortieth wedding anniversary (congratulations, Jim!) and in his spare time he enjoys taking family vacations with his three daughters and four grandchildren. Jim only recently started exploring color and pattern, but now he won't go back to any other look... or any other clothing company! PF: Describe your sense of style.
J: Until my daughter gave some depth to my myopic perspective of style, I wore plain, generic styles and colors. I am beginning to venture into the wider, more fun world of color and variety.
PF: On an average day, what do you wear to work?
J: Until recently, my style was very conservative business casual. Blues, grays, and blacks in pants. Shirts were pretty much no pattern or muted pattern oxford, blues, white, and grays. Plain loafer or lace-up black shoes. Now I enjoy a wider variety of colors, patterns and designs in shirts; I wear a wider variety of pant colors, and I love a wide variety of shoe colors and designs.
PF: Which 3 staple pieces should every man have in his wardrobe?
J: Pants, shoes, and shirts… Is there anything else?
PF: What is the best piece of fashion advice you’ve ever received?
J: “Try it Dad, you might be surprised at how good it looks!"
PF: What do you like most about Paul Fredrick?
J: I really enjoy the incredible variety of designs and colors of high quality merchandise at reasonable prices. I am not a shopper so I love the ability to shop online at home… And it is so easy to navigate!
PF: What are the Paul Fredrick pieces you can’t live without?
J: If I had to pick one, it would be shoes. Having said that, the thought of going back to my prior men’s retailer for any product is depressing. Jim’s favorite shoes from this season’s catalog are:
